Thewa jewelry is a 16th-century jewelry making technique of fusing intricately designed gold art onto the colored glass surface without using any glue.

This age old secret technique is done by heating & cooling gold on to the molten glass surface, known only to the artisans of royal jewelry maker clan. It originated in Rajasthan India during the Rajput era.
